Dear Reader,

This week in the u.k. many of us have been waking up to snow covered scenes outside.  Despite daily disruptions and hazards of heavy snow fall, the dazzling white settings can at times look stunning. A sense of wonder, excitement and endless possibilities can stir inside us when looking at nature's recent handiwork.

Perhaps the theme of endless possibilities and anticipation is a quality of 2010. It's a bright new decade and a bright new start for us all. Our resolutions are fresh and we have a sparkling white  blank canvas to work from. Many forecasters of different persuasions are saying that we have a positive year ahead and if that's where our focus is, it's going to happen. A big thank you to all of our contributors this month who worked over the festive season for us. We hope you enjoy reading their articles and as ever we look forward to hearing from you.

Happy 2010!

Much Love and Blessings,

The Voyager Spirit Team

An edited book extract from Gods, Guides and Guardian Angels
by Richard Lawrence with Mark Bennett
Hay House One sunny Saturday morning in May 1954 a young Englishman named George King, while drying dishes in his small flat in Maida Vale, London, heard a very unusual voice - with a yet more unusual command:

"Prepare yourself! You are to become the voice of Interplanetary Parliament."

He tells us that it came from outside of himself and struck his ear drums "with a somewhat gentle firmness", but he confesses to being unable to describe the "tonal qualities" of this "alien sound". He also describes the suddenness of it as it came into his mind as "numbing".

Even though the young man, a bachelor in his mid-thirties, had never even heard of "Interplanetary Parliament", he knew the experience wasn't his imagination; he was already far too skilled a medium to make a silly mistake like that. He had been practising advanced forms of yoga intensely for many years, and had developed remarkable powers of concentration and detachment. He was way beyond the psychic stage... Nevertheless he describes feeling "turmoil", "bewilderment" and "hopeless frustration"

Interview with Ali Campbell: 'Just Get on With It'
by Claudine Deasy
If you have some new year's resolutions in mind to make a fresh start in various areas of your life, reading Ali Campbell's new book 'Just Get On With It- A Caring Compassionate Kick Up The Ass!' is a very simple yet in depth way of looking at things differently and in doing so, leads you onto making those changes you may have been procrastinating about for too long.

Ali's book complete with short exercises and a warm encouraging voice feels like having a life coach in your home guiding you to differentiate between your internal and sometimes limiting dialogue as opposed to your inner knowing. We already have the answers inside us it's just that we might need the odd gentle prompt (or kick) to access them.

"Metaphorically I've got 2 tools as a coach. I've got a mirror and a torch. I help people to see things for what they are and I help them to see things that they have never noticed before. I hope the book will help people to actually reflect on where they really are, not the story that they tell themselves. And then shine the light of their own awareness in order to gain another sense of perspective."

Make Your Home Your Sanctuary
by Cheryl Kempton
Hay House Creating spiritual space in your home makes it a place for relaxation and rejuvenation. However, more often we're likely to bring the hectic nature of our lives into our space. Do you crave a retreat at the end of the day? Here are 8 ways to make your home a space that enhances your life.

1. Clear the clutter
Think of the most relaxing spa you could imagine. Is it filled with knick-knacks, bits and bobs, and other junk? Probably not. The archetypal design for a spa is a clean Zen space. Now, that doesn't mean that your home should look like a spa, but one reason this style is so serene and relaxing is because it is clear of clutter.

Are there items in your home that you no longer need, that have used up their usefulness or that you no longer find beautiful? Are your drawers and cupboards so stuffed with things that you struggle to find what you want? All of our things have a place in our attention. Feng Shui expert Karen Kingston describes it as having strings of energy between us and every item in our lives. Those things that we feel are beautiful and useful support us and enhance our lives. Those things that are no longer useful or beautiful still have an impact on us, but drain our energy and get in the way of what's truly important.

Psychology of Reincarnation and Past Life Memories
by Venerina Conti
Picture this. You're nearly 40 years old. Your name is Hanan. You have three beautiful children who love you more than anyone else. You're married to the man of your dreams. Everything is perfect; just the way you always wanted it to be.

One day, you leave your family and travel abroad for heart surgery. Before the operation you call your daughter but you can't get through. After the operation, you want to call but you can't remember the last digit in the number. You get frustrated. You want to go home to your loved ones but you can't. You're forced to live with another family.

Years pass. Everyday you think about your family. Your love for them never dies. Finally, one day you are allowed to meet up with them again, but they don't love you the same way. You find out your husband has another woman. Your children don't want to look at you. You feel betrayed, hurt and rejected. Your world is completely shattered. Your very reason for being is taken away from you for the second time...

Archangel Vediel Channelling - January 2010
by Belinda Bras-Nel
Dearest loved ones; we congratulate you on arriving in the beautiful year of 2010. Without you to do the work within the Earthly reality, Spirit would never become manifest within the world. We thank you for owning up to your potential and living out your talents. We know that the year of 2009 was not an easy one to live through. With its ups and downs and big transitions it was tiring and trying, to even the most experienced soul.

Do not be hard on yourself if you feel that you did not handle the previous year in the most spiritual way. Be proud and thankful to your body for sustaining you and supplying the experience in order for your soul to grow and transform into the butterfly that will be released in 2010. Yes, it is time to go out into the world, show your colors and fly.

January is a month to watch and notice. Wait for potential to reveal itself and do not force any action in order to create. January is truly a month to allow yourself to acclimatize to the year that has dawned. Bring yourself slowly into awakening so that you will realize the true power of the year that is upon you

Inspirations from Binah - January 2010
by yvette Soler
What is Happening to my Life?

Life has always been very difficult for me. I have had a marriage full of emotional abuse and financial threat. I was working in a great company but the company went down and we had to leave our jobs. After all this I decided to go solo and work on my own but the depression or inertia that set in is really not subsiding. I was also told that I was meant to be a healer and I have a great affinity with the Tarot and Angel cards but don't know how to start marketing myself. I am totally engrossed in reading about mysticism and spirituality. I don't feel like going out to get business, I feel lazy, have memory lapses and sleep a lot with dreams which I do not remember on waking up. What is happening to my life? I don't understand. Please help me.

Inspirations from Binah:

The beginning of a journey is filled with great enthusiasm. New lessons are devoured as we search for the steps to be taken. And yet, there is also intense fear and worry. Following a new road means crossing uncharted territories and forging a path through land that once seemed uninhabitable. Laziness sets in - the feeling that everything is too difficult to work through and so it is better to do nothing... read more
